sitting, this early autumn dawn…
already the tropical heat steams:
low clouds are resting on the mango tops
and on my head, thick after an airless night
sitting, greeting, bowing to
each whining thought’s futility
in the presence of this
has been tossed too far
off the mainstream GPS
by whatever brought her here
to expect acceptance
by the old herd
sometimes, though, there’s a glance
back, over the shoulder
and a sigh sighs – it wants
the best of both worlds:
understanding and encouragement from the old
friends, the frayed remnant of family
as well as this wild unchoreographed dance
with the unknown
but it’s a no-brainer and anyway
back-tracking isn’t an option
a great sentient silence wraps itself
around this spaciousness
and there’s just this
emelle loves this fail-safe Lover
with her life
emelle = ml = miriam louisa
I’ve got a few old friends.
Oh bugger. Does that mean I’m not awake yet?
Oh you are fortunate! I too have a handful of mates from bygone chapters – and love them dearly.
However, for the most part their eyes tend to glaze over if the conversation veers towards my “flaky” thinking. The wonderful thing is that it doesn’t matter. How could Love be affected?
I’m the “nondual nutter” in the family tree.
(Leunig could make that into a great cartoon, eh?)
is it fair to say, “it is inned” too?:)
Yes it’s fair – although ‘outer’ and ‘inner’ aren’t things apart …
Yet, using the vernacular seemed to satisfy the soul!
Thanks for your comment dear L
tossed too far
only to find
how close the sun will let us
without melting our waxy wings
Thank you Arno – gratitude for that “new strength” 🙂
Beautiful emelle……and oh so so familiar! shanti…..kai
I think many of us are reaching this imperative, kai, the demand that we own up to our alignment with the Inconceivable and admit that everything else is secondary.
Unbound love to you
P.S. Now that I am back in the U.S. with a faster connection I can update my blog. Hope to do a blogroll – may I add your blog? xx…kai
That would be an honor Kai!
Okay, thanks! Now we are having internet story in the U.S. but so it goes and will get to the blog list soon….sweet now!
